New Bounty System Goes Live
Axie Infinity has rolled out a fresh set of community bounties that give players more ways to earn rewards. There are five different types now available, covering combat, harvesting, exploration, dojo performance, and AXP gains. The point values range from 15 to 400 points per task, which I think creates a good spread for different types of players.
Casual users can tackle the smaller challenges, while more dedicated players have those higher-point options to aim for. All of these bounties are accessible through the Premier Bounty Board, which is interesting because they’re planning to merge this with the Standard board soon. That consolidation should make things simpler for everyone.
Axie Quest’s Growing Features
Axie Quest itself keeps getting more features. It’s this community-built experience that combines Match3 puzzles with RPG progression elements. What I find compelling is how players can use their actual axies in the gameplay. Your axie’s accessories, levels, and evolved parts all carry over into the quest experience.
There are different modes to explore. Wild Hunt offers PvE exploration with monster battles during puzzle challenges. Then there’s the Arena for PvP encounters with leaderboards and AXP rewards. The Dojo serves as a training area with light PvP elements, which seems useful for players who want to practice before jumping into more competitive modes.
Unified Reward System Coming
The big change happening behind the scenes is the unification of the Standard and Premier Bounty Boards. This is supposed to wrap up by late October from what I understand. The goal here is to reduce fragmentation and create a more cohesive questing experience across all Axie activities.
It reminds me of seasonal pass systems you see in other major games, but with that Web3 twist emphasizing digital ownership. The developers mentioned that these current updates are just the foundation for broader improvements coming down the line.
As October progresses, players should see better access to quest content, clearer reward pathways, and improved utility for their assets across different game modes. This rollout feels like both a preview and testing phase for what’s next in Axie’s ecosystem.
What strikes me is how they’re trying to maintain engagement beyond the initial excitement of new features. The point structure seems designed to keep players coming back to different segments of Axie Quest over time. It’s not just about one-time participation but building sustained activity across multiple game modes.
The integration between different parts of the ecosystem appears to be getting stronger. Your progress in one area can benefit you in others, which creates that sense of interconnected gameplay that keeps people invested long-term.
